Day 1, Arrival in Reykjavik Upon arrival at Keflavik Airport, commence your self-drive adventure by picking up your rental vehicle. Drive to Reykjavik, where you will indulge in the soothing waters of the Blue Lagoon with the Comfort Package, setting the tone for an unforgettable journey. Overnight in Reykjavik.

Day 2, Reykjavik to Akureyri Embark on a scenic drive of approximately 460 km (286 mi) towards Akureyri, the charming capital of the north. Along the way, marvel at the enchanting Hraunfossar waterfalls in Borgarfjöröur, where water cascades from lava into the river below. Journey through Skagafjöröur, renowned for its exceptional horse breeding, before reaching Akureyri, where the captivating Icelandic horses grace your path. Overnight in Akureyri.

Day 3, Akureyri to Myvatn Embark on an exhilarating Akureyri Whale Watching boat tour, spanning approximately 3 hours, to observe these majestic creatures in their natural habitat. Following this memorable experience, continue your journey with a self-drive to Myvatn of approx. 130 km (81 mi), making a stop en route to marvel at the captivating Goðafoss waterfall. Day 4, Myvatn to Egilsstaðir Embark on a scenic self-drive from Myvatn to Egilsstaðir, covering approximately 330 km (205 mi). Day 6, Hofn to Vik Embark on a breathtaking self-drive journey from Höfn to Vik, covering approximately 300 km (186 mi). Along the route, marvel at the mesmerizing landscapes of Iceland's southeast, passing by various outlet glaciers of Vatnajökull, Europe's largest ice cap. Day 7, Vik to Reykjavik Embark on a westbound journey to Iceland's south coast, covering approximately 300 km (186 mi). Discover the iconic Golden Circle, renowned for its must-visit attractions including Gullfoss, Geysir, and Thingvellir National Park. En route back to Reykjavik, marvel at the majestic Skógafoss and Seljalandsfoss waterfalls. Day 8, Depart Reykjavik As your remarkable journey through Iceland draws to a close, it's time to bid farewell to this enchanting land. Begin your journey back to reality by driving to Keflavik Airport for your departure flight. Return your rental car at the airport rental office, marking the end of your unforgettable tour through Iceland's wonders.
