NEW FOR 2008
-We present a seven night package taking in Dublin, Cork, Cobh,
Blarney Castle, Cliffs of Moher, Galway Bay, Connemara and The Aran
Islands. PLUS A fascinating day in Northern Ireland to the famed
Antrim coast with its spectacular seascapes taking in the Giant's
Causeway, Dunluce Castle and the old Bushmills Distillery.
Day 1
Arrive in Dublin and transfer on own to Ashling Hotel. Overnight
Day 2
Check in Dublin Heuston Station for 7.00 departure of
Intercity train to Cork (breakfast available). For Blarney
Castle, Cobh then travel to Killarney for
two nights B&B accommodation* with en-suite facilities
Day 3
10.00 depart Killarney on Ring of Kerry
tour. We have a wonderful day viewing some of Ireland’s most
spectacular scenery, including Dingle Bay. We also see the Macgillicuddy
Reeks, Ireland's highest mountain Carrantuohill, Moll's Gap,
Ladies View and the world famous Lakes of Killarney.
Overnight in Killarney.
Day 4
07.30 transfer from Killarney to Limerick We
join our coach here for a short tour of Limerick City and then
to Bunratty Castle and Folk Park (admission included).
On to the village of Doolin for O'Connors Pub. Next we visit
the stunning Cliffs of Moher, Black Head, the Burren and Galway
Bay overnighting in the heart of Galway City.
Day 5
10.30a.m. transfer to Connemara Airport for flight to Innismor
where we join our tour of the islands, time for lunch at
Kilronan before our vist to the magnificent ancient fort Dún
Aengus. Return flight and transfer back to Galway
city late afternoon. Overnight
Day 6
10:00am we head into magnificent Connemara where John
Ford filmed "The Quiet Man" in 1951, taking in Clifden,
Kylemore Abbey (reduced admission rate applies to
Abbey itself), Leenane and Killary Harbour
or Roundstone, the Coral Beach and
the Sky Road. See lots of breathtaking wild Atlantic
coastline. We return to Galway for our
return via InterCity train to Dublin Heuston arriving
at 20.55. Transfer on own to Dublin Ashling Hotel for overnight stay.
Day 7
Transfer on own and check in Dublin Connolly
Station for 7.15 departure of Enterprise service (light
breakfast available). At Belfast we join our tour and
head to the famous Antrim Coast Road crossing the lovely Glens
of Antrim en route to Ballycastle and the Carrick-a-rede*
rope bridge (April - September only). Glimpse the Scottish
coast on a clear day. We continue to the stunning Giant's
Causeway next, seeing Dunluce Castle (photo
stop only). And concluding with a visit to the famous Old
Bushmills Distillery sampling a "drop of the hard
stuff". We return to Belfast and our train to
Dublin arriving at Connolly station at 22.15.
Transfer on own to Dublin Ashling Hotel for overnight stay
Day 8
After breakfast. Check out of your Dublin Hotel and transfer on own
for your flight home.
