This fee covers any accidental damage that occurs to your property during your stay up to $1000. However, this fee does not cover: Lost or stolen items, intentional damage, excessive damage, damage done by motor vehicles, damage caused by fire or smoking, or the cost to repair a frozen A/C unit because the thermostat was set too low. For this coverage to apply, you must have an itemized confirmation letter displaying your payment of the damage waiver and the damage must be reported to the office prior to your departure. This is a required charge and applies to every home rented.
