They gave us what was left over since we got bumped off of flights getting there and were late. We upgraded with a fee, and got a villa on the ocean. We wouldn't have it any other way now that we know the difference. The Caribe Real had the most courteous staff I have ever encountered and would bend over backwards for you. I realize that hurricanes left great devastation and they need business, but we were totally impressed and I doubt that their attitudes will change when things get better. We really do want to book a longer vacation at the same resort but in a villa next time. Another thing that most would not know is that you can use the facilities at any other real hotel, you can eat at their restaurants, use their beaches,...etc. Thanks again!"
